Cross Country Ski Information

Listen to the wind whisper through the trees as you trek through one of Bemidji's eight trail sites.

   Remember after your finished enjoying the beautiful scenery, warm up in our finish sauna or relax at the outdoor hot tub.

   These trails vary from 2k to 50k. Don't worry if you are a beginner or pro, these trails are designed for every level of expertise. It's easy to rent your equipment right here in Bemidji. Bemidji Area Trail Maps .Right outside the resort grounds you can venture into the woods and head towards state forests and the county park. There are a few miles of natural trails, or try the many miles of dnr rustic wilderness roads. Ski down onto Big Turtle Lake. As you cross the snow covered ice, head to the closest island [Farm Island], and do a little exploring. While you are out on the lake, stop by a few of the ice fisherman and see if anything is biting. Remember our ice fish house use is free to you as a registered guest.

   Ski over to one of our 2 local gas stations where you can get a hot cup of coffee and pick up that special treat that will keep you going. On the way back, stop to marvel at the beauty of the solitude. Stop at one of the many eagle's nests and see if you can spot them resting or maybe you will see them soaring high above the landscape. They are always a great sight to see.
