Ice fishing trips
What can be better than free use of our heated, log sided fish
house. Catch the big ones. Fish Big Turtle Lake, right in front of
your cabin. The use of our fish house is free when you are a guest
of Kohl's Resort. Bring your own house and try your luck on one of
the other lakes in our 7 lake chain. And within 30 minutes are 30
different lakes for fishing.

where Ron and Pam will direct you to where the fish are biting.
Muskie, walleye, northern pike, croppies or panfish. They will set
you up with the proper bait and help you find that great spot. Let
the memories begin. If you need a ice fishing guide, just give us a
call and we can set you up with one.
First ice on can be the best time for ice fishing. But be careful.
First ice is usually the first week of November. By the Christmas
season, we will have the fish house out, and you are now usually
fully able to drive on the ice. There is about a foot if ice on
Christmas week. The last week of game fishing, which is the last
week of February, we normally have 3 solid feet of ice to cut
through. Bring your gear, but if you need to borrow an ice auger,
for cutting on our chain, Kohls resort can set you up with a gas
one. Dress warm and have fun. Don't forget, after a day on the ice,
you can take a dip in the indoor pool, or relax in the hot tub, or
sauna. |
