 Our
family resort is located in the midst of northern Minnesota's 10,000
lakes, on 1500-acre Big
Turtle Lake.
This pristine, clear lake is part of a 3-lake chain, all which
are home to a variety of game fish. Big Turtle Lake is perfect
for fishing,
skiing, swimming,
and other water-related sports and leisurely pastimes.
In the summer, relax
on our very private sandy beach or choose from many other onsite amenities. We provide a weekly lineup of planned family
activities or grab a walking stick and venture down a path of your own. Catch
a bad weather day? No problem! The weather's always perfect at
our indoor pool and sauna. Everyone loves the outdoor hot tub no
matter what kind of weather any time of the year. Games and puzzles
always available.
 Guests can enjoy 3 golf
courses within a 15-minute drive, hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobile
and many other nearby activities. Close to Bemidji, yet far enough
away to enjoy a peaceful setting.
In the fall, we invite
you to see our spectacular colors. Hunters and fishermen are at
home with deluxe accommodations while the area is abundant with
wildlife, duck, goose, grouse and deer. Don't forget Ladies
Weekends.
You deserve some time for yourself. Come to a scrapbook and stamping
weekend.
 In the winter, our indoor
pool and sauna are open creating a great place to bring your family.
The outdoor hot tub is quite popular during the winter months.
Use our reunion villas and cabins to celebrate the holidays with
your family and friends. Bring your ice house up or rent one from
us. We also have a gas powered ice auger for rent. Eat. Sleep.
Fish. Plenty of walleye in our clean lake. Don't forget your ice
skates and hockey stick. We flood a rink. Great fun! You have access
to snowmobile trails right from your cabin. Buena Vista is practically
