Personal Items

Personal Soaps,
Toiletries & Attire

Bring shoes appropriate for all the activities you’re planning. Sneakers, flip flops, water shoes and hiking boots could be useful. Don’t forget bug spray and sunblock.

Pack your own towels and hand soap. We do not provide hand soap or any other type of personal soap. Pack your own towels - including hand towels, wash clothes and bath towels. We do supply toilet paper, garbage bags, dishwashing detergent and dish soap.

Indoor COoking

Cabin Kitchens

The cabin kitchens are fully supplied with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, dish soap and hand soap. If you were to need something, just let us know. We’re happy to look in our supply room.

Coffee

Each cabin does have a Keurig Machine and a coffee pot. You will want to bring your own coffee & filters. The water is filtered and ok to drink.

Outdoor Cooking

Grill & Campfire Pit

All cabins do have a charcoal grill. Some cabins have a park style charcoal grill and others have a Weber charcoal grill. You will want to bring your own charcoal, lighter fluid and lighter for the grills. We also have a large charcoal grill on our A-Frame as well as a gas grill that is available for all of our resort guests to use. You’re welcome to use either of these grills; they are FCFS.

Each of our cabins has a private campfire pit. We supply the firewood for each cabin. You will want to bring your own lighter and anything else you need to start your campfire. We do ask that all campfires are supervised and extinguished at the end of the night.

We do provide all furniture inside of the cabin. We also provide outside furniture for the decks and campfires.

Also available upon request are a pack n play and a child high chair.. Please request these in advance.

Local SHopping

Grocery stores

We have four grocery stores on the north side of Bemidji which is closest to the resort. Target & Walmart are included in those four. The other two are hometown stores that provide our guests with a wonderful shopping experience. Marketplace is next to Target and then Luekens is just down the road.

Life Jackets

We have life jackets available in the boat house at Kohl's Resort for use on resort property only. Guests must have proper fitting life jackets for infants. It is the parents’ responsibility to bring a properly fitting life jacket for those little ones.
